I am going to be in charge of nine children this weekend. I'm going camping with scouts and they just joined the troop. I am in charge of these kids until they reach the rank first class. The ranks go scout, tenderfoot, second class, first class, star, life, and then eagle scout. So I am in charge of them on any outing we go on for about half the time they are in scouts. They already know not to mess with me. They know this well. I hope this knowledge lasts for a while.

Randomness

I'm going to pick a random topic. It will be the first thing that pops in to my head......TURKEY SEASON!!!!! I can't wait for turkey season. There is sure chance I'll get at least one this year. I've seen a lot so far. Its weird though, when you're hunting something, saaayyyy.....deer, for instance, you will see EVERYTHING but deer. You will see squirrels and turkeys and anything else. But right after deer season is over, you will see 20 of them every day! It gets on my nerves. I hope that doesn't happen this spring season. I hunt on my grandpas property about two hours south of here.

This is another random post. Wow I do not like doing these. I don't know what I'm gonna write. No purpose. Yay. Now I'm typing just to keep busy. Now I am stumped. Writing. Writing. More writing. Ugh. I don't even know anymore. I'm glad 3rd quarter is over. I've already gotten a good start on a book, "The freedom writers." It's about these kids in school in Cali- oh times up!

OUR STORY

Pride

So far the movie is pretty good. In the beginning a man, named Jim Ellis was judged for being an African American man. He was at a swim meet and was the only black man there, swimming or in the crowd. The starting shot fired, and Jim was the only one to swim. No one else swam because no one else would swim with a black man. These kind of things factored through the entire movie. I didn't like that a white man though he was entirely different and better than a black man. Some of my best friends are black. I met them when I was in kindergarten. I didn't think there was a difference. I know a lot more white people than I do black, but so what? Color doesn't matter until the other person makes a big deal about it. People still today are prejudice against black people. They look on the outside of people instead of what matters. I thought it was a good movie. The "underdogs" came out on top. That always makes a good movie.

Worst Thing a Parent Can do to Their Child

There is a lot of bad things done to kids every day. Most times by an adult or their parents. It goes from mental, sexual, and physical abuse, to even abandonment. Parents that do these things to their kids I would say aren't mentally stable themselves. It takes someone pretty messed up in the head to abuse a child.

Well, we are supposed to talk about anything we want, again. Ugh, my stomach hurts. I don't even know why. I can't wait until spring turkey season. It's one of my favorite times of the year. I hunt at my grandpas, he is big on turkey season as well. Now I don't know what to talk about. I'm stumped. I like fishing too. I went to Ely, MN last summer. It was really fun. We fished and camped and canoed and it was just fun. We crossed into the borders of Canada by canoe, that was really cool. The lady park ranger didn't think too much of us though, I don't know why.
