Conversation With The World

If I talked to the world, first, I would ask how it was doing. I would see if anything new is happening. I would ask what weather will be happening where I live. I would ask if there would be anything I could help with. Then I would talk to most everyone on the world. See how they were doing. Then I probably would tell them that I do not care. Most of the problems the world is having is caused by the people living in it. I would tell them what they could do to help the world itself.

I can't wait for tomorrow. The school band is going to Six Flags and I will only have to be here for 1st hour and some of 2nd hour. I think it's kinda dumb that we gotta have groups though. The only people that are gonna be there are other schools. I'm pretty sure no one for another school will kid-nap us or anything. My dad grew up in St. Louis so he got to go to Six Flags all the time. I know that place like the back of my hand. So I won't get lost either. At the end of the year last year my school went to Six Flags for a reward trip.

Well, it looks like Abraham Lincoln is jammin' out to his tunes. I don't know what to say about this picture. He may have done something that included radios I'm not sure. He might have help invent it maybe? Or created a new way to listen to music that uses radios?

I am so excited for youth turkey season this weekend. While I was deer hunting earlier this year, we (me and my grandpa) saw everything but deer. We saw a lot of turkeys, a LOT of them. Last spring turkey season I didn't do so well. We didn't see hardly anything. But this year, I know exactly where I'm going to get one. On my grandpa's property there is this large hill, and what's one top we call the ridge. When I was deer hunting last season I saw a lot of turkeys up there.

It's rainy today. People are saying that it is a HUGE storm but I mean come on people, haven't you ever seen rain before? It's only drizzling. I said this in first hour and this kid looks at me like I am a complete idiot. I went to Eleven Point River last summer for a week, and the first few days we were in a huge storm that just about flipped some of our canoes! We had to cook steaks in the rain. That took a while since we couldn't build a fire to cook them on. We used propane stove to cook them. Two stoves. 18 people. That took a while. Overall the trip was fun though.

Instructions for Snow Days

WHEN YOUR KIDS ARE BORED ON SNOW DAYS

• Kick them out of the house to play outside.
• Suggest a snowball fight.
• Tell them to make snow-angels.
• Tell them to build a snowman. (or two)
• Tell them to go sledding.
• Tell them to read a book.
• Tell them to build a fort.
