There is cobblestone,stone,and many forms of stone bricks. at the beginning you have to use wooden tools to get the stone. then the stone tools can be used to get iron, and iron gets diamond and the...I'm getting off track. the stone is actually in my part mainly used for building a house. i use stone to make mountains. but usually its used for tools for you, survival players. I'm usually on creative but whatever. I really like the cracked stone bricks. they give a resemblance of almost mined blocks of the original.
